Myanmar Diary- update 5

A full on weekend in Mandalay with the highlights being a beautiful meal set in a restaurant overlooking a huge lake where over 50 people involved with the acupuncture project in some way (Doctors, Administration, cooks, drivers teachers, nurses and students) all enjoyed a fabulous meal, dancing and were serenaded by the students on stage!... Wonderful !!! Following this Jinal, Kisten, Sarah and Pater embarked on a wild and unplanned tour of Mandalay on motorbikes. A tour of the perimeter of the Imperial Palace and the image of Peter van Kerval riding pillion on the back of Tun Tun Win’s motorbike, longyi hitched above his knees and a cigar clenched between his teeth will live long in the memory.....
